Kilowatto: I found that humanities, languages, and journalism degrees have been declining, with 165,489 humanities degrees awarded in 2024, the lowest since 1991 Leia: What was the peak number of humanities degrees? Kilowatto: It was 69,254, which is the lowest since 1987, and that's another notable finding from the AAAS Humanities Indicators Kilowatto: I found that health, trades, cybersecurity, and AI-related fields are growing sustainably, with nursing enrollment increasing 7.6% in entry-level BSN programs Leia: 7.6% is how much it grew, right? Kilowatto: Well, it's 7.6% in the 2024-2025 cycle, with 19,830 more students, totaling 283,303 Leia: How many students were in master's programs? Kilowatto: It started with just 70 students in 2003, according to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Kilowatto: I found law school enrollment dropped by 1.2% in 2024, but rebounded by 4% in 2025, with 120,039 students. Leia: What was the enrollment in 2024? Kilowatto: It was 115,410 students, and the first-year class rose 7.9% in 2025. Leia: How much did the first-year class rise? Kilowatto: Well, it's a 67% increase compared to 2017-18, and the national vacancy rate fell to 16.36%, according to Education Post India, based on AICTE data. Leia: What was the vacancy rate before? Kilowatto: Yes, that's correct, 10,676 graphic design degrees were awarded in the United States in 2024 Kilowatto: I found that in Germany, computer science enrollment grew steadily over three consecutive winter semesters - 260,078, 267,249, and 273,941 - a cumulative increase of 5.3% in three years, with female participation rising by nearly 12% Leia: What was the increase in female participation? Kilowatto: It was nearly 12%, according to Statistisches Bundesamt, and computer science is the largest individual discipline within the entire German MINT block Leia: How many students were enrolled in 2023/24?
